steveroberts Posted October 19, 2008 Report Posted October 19, 2008 Hi All,Looking forward to designing up my first project using Thorsten's great modular system. The project is to be a controller for my Line 6 POD 2.0 Guitar Process to allow access to all parameters without a computer. It will help make the creative stuff so much easier in a improvisation setup.Anyhow all of my current needs are met within the basic MB64's specs apart from the number of LEDs. I'd need 73 leds for the system I'm looking at. As far as the documentation on the www site goes it says it can do 128 LEDs using 4 x DOUTX4 boards but also says quote "Note that MIOS allows to connect up to 128 LEDs, but the MIDIbox64 application only handles with 64 LEDs maximum to keep the SysEx dump compatible with the old PIC16F implementation."Any leads to some addition reading would be helpful.Cheers,Steve Roberts.
cimo Posted October 19, 2008 Report Posted October 19, 2008 you can:1-use a matrix of leds (have a look at step C control surface of MBSID)2-chain a second core3-write your own C custom applicationah, welcome aboardSimone
steveroberts Posted October 19, 2008 Author Report Posted October 19, 2008 Cheers Simone,I'll look into those options. At least what I am trying to do appears quite possible without much headache. Thanks !Steve R.
