Pitch / mod wheel hardware

Hi, apologies if this question has been answered well previously, I have put in a few hours searching these forums (and elsewhere) and haven't turned anything up.

What are the options out there for hardware that functions like generic pitch / mod wheels or sticks?  As in, resets to center when released.  Has anyone done something that's a noteworthy example along these lines?
