how to...subtitute "osc delay" encorder with "osc pwm" encoder

Hi to all! :)

I'm building and testing my midibox sid v2 control surface step c and i found some interesting (for me) modifications and customizations

In particular i would like to substitute the osc delay encoder with a more useful osc pwm control encoder.

Could someone help me to understand the procedure for this (and other)  customization?

Please be very clear and simply cause i'm a little in difficult with software stuffs and programs.

Some steps as "open the .hex file" for me are dramatics, e.g. how? using what??

(p.s. i have installed mios studio)
