Tempest vs Timbaland - The AcidJazzed Evening Debacle

So I've been in a super chippy tune mood lately and I ran across an AMAZEing tune from a Finnish composer guy who goes by the name "Tempest".

AAhhggghhhh...it's SO funky and amazing! This guy won some chiptune competition with this one back in 2000.

Well, it seemed that RnB/HipHop producer Timbaland thought it was pretty amazing too. Enough that he completely ripped the song off for a track he did for Nelly Furtado:

I mean, it seems to me that maybe he didn't even really try to make any kind of monetary settlement...I don't know it just seems that way to me for some reason. Honestly, I'm curious if people from other countries in Europe, it seems like they're not into the whole suing the hell out of anyone for any reason thing.

I'd put my money that Tempest just said, "Whatever dude, don't do it again." and left it at that.
