Hey man i just thought.

If i pre-ordered the STC-1000, i could get it cheaper than the Akai MPD 16 :):D ;).

It says on your site $225.00 US Pre-Order special, is that US only?

I just checked the specs for the Akai.

Note that the STC-1000 has 9 zones in percussion mode, not 16.  It has 16 zones in controller zone only.

Also, it is single touch, meaning you can't hit 2 pads at the same time.

Still a very capable product for the price though..
