SynGuy7 Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 I'm currently building the one piece PCB for version 4 and have a number of through PCB holes left (in areas of U5 & 6 and U8 & U2), am I supposed to connect these through the board to the tracks on the backside ? I've looked through the forums and constructions details but cannot find an answer to this. Thanks  Quote
findbuddha Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 I assume you mean Wilba's control surface PCB? AFAIK it's not necessary to do anything with those - mine works fine. Quote
Wilba Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 I agree  If it isn't mentioned in the build guide, ignore it. FWIW the pads right of U6 are unused DIN inputs, not in the switch matrix. Everything else is either a via (not a pad, vias connect tracks between the layers) or it's a documented header (which you probably don't need). Quote
SynGuy7 Posted May 12, 2010 Author Report Posted May 12, 2010 Thanks for the replies. I did actually zoom in on your photo of construction Wilba, but it was a bit indistinct to see if the track holes had a through connection. Time to get back to construction then. Thanks again. Quote
