MB6582 Meter Mode only works for Sid Engine 1

Matrix mode seems to correspond to the SID Engine selected, but Meter mode only responds to SID Engine 1. Is this by design or is there something wrong with my setup?

It's by design, because it's hooked into the internal data of the synth engine running on the master PIC, not just displaying patch settings, which the master PIC has access to for all four SID engines.
