88 keys midi keyboard without velocity

There's an old circuit with a diode matrix, controlled by 8052 microcontroller or even with an Arduino... Somebody knows where can I find the code for this system? Or at least tell me how its works to do it myself? Thank you very much!

No idea about your request for code, but matrix scanning routines are all very simular in the basic concept. Take a look at the MidiboxKB project or look in the Midification forum, reading a key matrix are covered in these areas. Hope you find what you'r looking for,
