verpeiler Posted August 11, 2011 Report Share Posted August 11, 2011 Hello Community, I have problems getting my LCD to work properly. It just displays garbage as shown at the attached picture. Currently I've no idea whether this is a software issue/an incompatibility between MIOS firmware an the displays chipset or if there is a hardware problem with the display or the core module. I tried troubleshooting with the LCD interconnection test tool. Unfortunately all tests pass as exprected (5V only on the tested data pin etc.) I'm using PCBs from SmashTV (Core + SID) and MIOS V1.9g is running. The SID is working basically, means the default sound plays well via MIDI. Any help appreciated! TIA verpeiler Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Hawkeye Posted August 11, 2011 Report Share Posted August 11, 2011 Hi, Now that is a very interesting picture - all characters are shifted by a pixel to the left and to the top - you can read that it says MIDIbox SID - CS not enabled.... Do you have any other CLCD for testing?
