Has anyone done anything in here to address RS-232 or RS-422 connections to video or tape decks in conjunction with all the midi controller stuff. Duggle Posted October 8, 2003 Report Share Posted October 8, 2003 Sounds like a classic application for MIOS.However, I've never seen mention of anyone developing for RS422 or AV protocols on these site. This means that you would need to be willing to do it yourself. I've never done anything like this before..so I have to decide whether it would be worth it to try to figure it out. I think my time is worth more than the money I'd save..unless I can think of an application that is simply not available to buy for any price..in which case it would be worth it..
