Johey Posted January 2, 2013 Report Posted January 2, 2013 The top and rear panel has no engraves for you to fill with paint. Instead there is this printed overlay (the rear connectors are identified on the top panel as well). That is the only difference apart from the new display if I understood correctly. And by the way, I don't think it is officially called v3... It is just the third batch, or am I wrong?
m00dawg Posted January 2, 2013 Report Posted January 2, 2013 I am actually still having trouble with mine. But mine has always been flaky - it just seems worst now than it used to. Of note, I got one of the first sammichSID kits and I think a different encoder is now used? The one on the sammichFM is soo much better so I'm inclined to just open it up and replace it anyway ;)
