One little question about the microchip samples

Hi!

        I was just wondering in what package does the PIC samples from microchip come? tray? tube?

        I'm asking coz i had my samples delivered to a frnd of mine in the US coz they don't deliver samples to my country. I asked my frnd to send them to me via ordianary mail in an A4 size envelope. My concern is; are the IC's are protected from compression? Like when they stack the envelope one on topo of the other, will it survive?

        Help please....

They usually come in a small, black, static-protected, plastic-but-solid, rubber padded box.

I think you can safely smash it against a wall without harm, it takes some serious force and abuse to damage anything inside.
