Thorsten, you the man, waht an awesome realisation you have made.

And also to axel, I think so far its the best midibox I have seen and I want to model my box on his.

a few questions if I may.......

1, Is there any possibility to build in any audio functionality? ie being able to be a mixer at the same time? i know this is far out, but think of the possibilities!

2, how about a meter bridge? is this possible? that would be so nice to build and to look at!

3, penny and giles faders, these are the best in the industry, i havent heard much about them on this site any reason for that?

also mini lcd that displays track name as does the pro|control for pro tools.

also if anyone can supply a complete parts list etc for supply then I will buy asap, anyway these forums are quite big so i will continue to read through the night as soon as i get home from work.

WHAT A SITE | WHAT A CONCEPT | WHAT A WAY OF LIFE

erhm... Cheers!

Brad Holland

Theoretically, yes. Mios provides you with digital (DOUTX) & analogue (AOUTX) outputs that you can use to control your (audio) circuitry. (You'll have to design/build that circuit yourself though)

This application uses meters, not sure if this is what you have in mind.

the reason is probably the price

you can find a complete partslist for each module at

http://www.ucapps.de/

Concerning the interface components (pots, encoders, buttons, leds....) it's up to you, depending on what you want to build.

further, best advise I can give: read that site thoroughly

If you wanna talk, there's a midibox chatroom (IRC)

(see also my signature)

best,
