DriftZ Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 1, Is there any possibility to build in any audio functionality? ie being able to be a mixer at the same time? i know this is far out, but think of the possibilities!Theoretically, yes. Mios provides you with digital (DOUTX) & analogue (AOUTX) outputs that you can use to control your (audio) circuitry. (You'll have to design/build that circuit yourself though)2, how about a meter bridge? is this possible? that would be so nice to build and to look at!http://www.ucapps.de/midibox_lc.htmlThis application uses meters, not sure if this is what you have in mind.3, penny and giles faders, these are the best in the industry, i havent heard much about them on this site any reason for that?the reason is probably the pricealso if anyone can supply a complete parts list etc for supply then I will buy asap, anyway these forums are quite big so i will continue to read through the night as soon as i get home from work.you can find a complete partslist for each module athttp://www.ucapps.de/Concerning the interface components (pots, encoders, buttons, leds....) it's up to you, depending on what you want to build.further, best advise I can give: read that site thoroughlyIf you wanna talk, there's a midibox chatroom (IRC)(see also my signature)best,DriftZ Quote
