Guest VILLADON Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 I'm starting a first project, and I want to make a dedicated controller for Ableton Live. I use this program for my DJ sets. Here is a descriptive layout for the Faders/Pots & Buttons:

Track Faders09 Track Select Buttons11

Send Faders02 Clip Playback Buttons48

X Fader01 Clip Stop Buttons09

Send1 & Send2 Pots20 Mute Buttons10

Pan Pots11 Solo Buttons10

Headphone Vol Pot01 Headphone Monitor Buttons08

Tempo +/- Pot01 Record Arming Buttons08

Effect On/Off Pots48 A/B Monitor Buttons20

__ Play Button01

Total Pots/Faders93 Record Button01

Stop Button01

Tap Tempo Button01

__

Total Buttons128

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to connect this amount of Pots/Faders and Buttons. For my first project i prefer not to use two core cards but if that is the only way I will. I've been following the forum for a couple of days and i get quite confused on the amount of AIN mods , DIN Mods and DOUT Mods you can connect to one core card. any advise would be great. Thanks for such a great forum!!

Guest psytron Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 looks loke you will need 2 cores to me.only 64 pots/faders per core.

DrBunsen Posted January 28, 2005 Report Posted January 28, 2005 Unless you make some of them encoders, and use the MIDIbox 64e firmware:optionally up to 64 pots or up to 8 motorfaders can be connected in addition to the rotary encoders MIDIbox64e
