They should have a (much) longer life as you stated, and as far as I know they do not 'bounce' like the mechanical ones.. i.e., they don't have any time in the cycle where the level jitters between on/off.I asked because the cheapest ones I have seen are much more expensive than a mechanical, like 10 to 20 times as much..Mark Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
