Benedict
Hello all,I've been looking around here for a while and I plan to build a SID (I posted a while ago in the design concept forum), but before I build anything I think I should do a bit of reading up. Can anyone recommend a good book or 2 that will fill me in the on the basics of PIC programming and audio circuits? Are there any other areas where some reading up would be a good idea?CheersBenedict
Guest paulrevelcet
Hello, here is a good beginner site that I really liked, it doesn`t assume that you have any experience in programing. http://www.mstracey.btinternet.co.uk/pictutorial/picmain.htmYou can try this, there bound to have some interesting readinghttp://www.audioscientific.com/Circuits%20-%20Schematics%20&%20Tutorials_100.htmHere is a very good site that I would recommend, http://www.rentron.com/index.html, one of the easier books to understand is the easy picn books, you will find a link to them on the rentron site, but with all the free info on the net, why spend money on books? buy more Midibox parts!! Sephult
Myke Predko's Programming and customizing picmicro microcontrollers is a really good book.It gives alot of information regarding the architecture of the pic microcontroller. It also gives the usage of instructions, and has a bunch of experiments and projects to go along with the material.I believe he has articles which were some of the basis of his book, on rentron.
