Hello.  I'm an Ableton Live user and  I've been unable to find a commercial controller that suits me.  The idea of building my own never seemed possible until I read about MIDIBox.  The only issue is I know practically nothing about building electronics.  I'm not sure what specific parts and tools I need, how to put them together (I've done a little bit of soldering, but never read any schematics), and how to apply the MIOS to my finished controller.  I've tried reading the information on ucapps.de and it's all a bit overwhelming for someone inexperienced in electronics.  Can someone point me to a clear direction?  I also need to know how much time and money I should plan to spent on my project.  Here's a list of the controls in my design.

32 Large Rotary Knobs

28 Small Rotary Knobs

1 Small Continuous Knob

8 Volume Faders

1 Crossfader

70 Small Buttons (of various colors)

1 Large Button

Here's the controller layout.
