You can probably abuse it's "oscillator resistor" pin6 as Scott Bernandi has done with PT2399 echo to get longer (and more distorted) delays ;)

Ahhh, the PT2399.  I hate to admit it, but I think those are still available for purchase at Small Bear Electronics.  I really need to get some of those chips sometime...
