velocity sensitive keyboard?

Hello,

I am part way through the completion of my MIDIbox FM synth, and would realy like to add an onboard polyphonic velocity sensitive keyboard to the mix. how would I go about doing this?

I plan to use 24 or 25 momentary style switches, for about two octaves of notes. it would also be nice to use two aditional buttons or a rotary switch to be able to change the 2 octaves up or down. can the DIN module accomplish this? would I require a second core?

Another core would be used to scan keyboard buttons and it would send midi to MBFM. I haven't studied this at all, so have a look by yourself. The code is in the MIOS download section, or http://www.ucapps.de/mios/din_velocity_unmuxed_v1_0.zip
