asbak Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 Did a little basic research on apps supporting this but so far no conclusive results. Does anyone know whether there is an interface in Adobe Premiere which allows the use of a "Mackie Control" or Midibox LC type controller?Virtualdub is a great freeware video editor which could benefit from a controller such as a Midibox64 / Midibox LC.From Mackie's webpage the following is supported, but these are mostly audio apps. For Video Editing Vegas seems to be supported.• ProTools • Logic Pro 7 • Logic Express 7 • Final Cut Pro 5 • Nuendo • Cubase SX • Live 5 • Reason 3 • Digital Performer 4 • Tracktion 2 • Audition • Sonar • Vegas • Samplitude • Sequoia • APB Tools • Soundscape • SAWStudio • Soundtrack Pro http://www.mackie.com/products/mcu/index.htmlInteresting looking videomixing application here with apparent support for MIDI:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenTZTAlternatively, does anyone know of software that will accept MIDI input and allow it to be assigned to chosen PC keyboard & mouse keys? This way a MIDI controller can compliment the PC keyboard/mouse for certain editing functions. Quote
