HLP: Core R4 and SID R3C Smash TV

Must we do that on the Core R4 for a SID module? or not?

Do what? If you mean the red wires, then No. The photo is an old revision. One of the benefits of the new Smash boards is that you don´t have to solder any bridges anymore.
