X pulses for encoder.

Forgive me for repeating my question, but I couldn't get an answer yet, perhaps I asked in the wrong 'department'   :-/

I even searched the whole forum for it & I only found the

question a number of times,...but not the answer.

Thatswhy I'm trying again inhere. :-/

About the encoders, howmany pulses do they need to send ? 36 or does 24 also work ?

Any of them will do the job, it's just that with the 24 ones you will have to turn your knobs more to have the same result! It's a personal matter of taste!
