SOUND FROM THE INPUT???

You have a short, or you wired incorrectly, or (unlikely) your sid is fried so badly that it lets audio through.

Any are you plugging your amp into the sid input? Sounds go out into the input, sounds go out from the output

basicly, instead to connect the jack in the output, i used the input (as a mistake and not on purpose)and with a lot of surprise there was a sound just a little lower, respect to the output.

i don't go to the sid with an amplifier, but from the line in of a mixer and i listen to it with headphones....

for months everything was ok, i also tryied to use the input to process external sounds and was almost nice.

then suddenly i got sound from the input and i also noticed that after a while that the sid is playing there's a bit of pitch changing...
