tokyomatik
i tryed with everythingnow i'm using the tl's patch managerbut i'm not able to access to the second banksticki uploaded the 8580 bank in the first bankstick without problemsthen i opened the second patchbank and patch manager read this as bank C(?)so when i try to upload the patches, first says the C is not available and then says that B is not available....also the midibox is not able to read the bankstick Bjust says <no bankstick>i'm sure that is not a problem with connections, but i don't know how to solve the problem.... tokyomatik
i will try to be more clear if it's possiblei have a vectorboard with a couple of epromsmounted on itone is supposed to be bankstick A, the other maybe one day will become the bankstick Bto upload the presets i'm using the midibox patchmanagerwith the 8580 presets i don't have problem, the presets are already uploadedin bankstick A, the other bankstick is like invisible when both are mounted.i did a kind of experiment, i removed bankstick A and i tryed to upload the second presetsbank on my "i wanna be" bankstick Bthis presetbank is read by the midibox patchmanager as bank Cso bank C is the source and bank B should be the destination(my second bankstick)but when i start the upload the MBPM says the C & B are not availableso it's like to say that the id of the second bankstick is "wrong"if i upload the C as source and A as destination looks like workingbut when both banksticks are mounted is a bit messy to read the name of the presetsit's like a conflict beetween two bankstickAif i try to select a bankstick from the CFG submenu from my midibox sidsynthonly A is available even if both banksticks are mountedthe connections on the bankstick board are ok, because if i move the epromsfrom one socket to the other, the sid is able anyway to read thembut only when only one eprom is mountedwhat i need is to find a way to "change the id" of the second bankstickor stuff like that...how can i do this?is my explanation more clear now? stryd_one
You set the ID of the bankstick IC using the first 3 pins.On the BankStick page you can see in the 8x bankstick schematic how the 3 pins are either tied to ground or 5V. This is a binary representation of the ID.Hope that helps!
