DragonMaster Posted December 11, 2007 Report Posted December 11, 2007 I just found a website telling they're quite common, but you need to look with manufacturers.
cimo Posted December 11, 2007 Author Report Posted December 11, 2007 hi DM thanks!I just found a website telling they're quite commonperhaps... link? but you need to look with manufacturers.i don t quite get it.. do you mean datasheets?
DragonMaster Posted December 11, 2007 Report Posted December 11, 2007 perhaps... link? It wasn't really related finally...However, I found 665nm LEDs, about $0.40 at Digikey. Search for "665nm" on their website. If you look for 670nm, you'll find laser diodes and fiber LED emitters. but you need to look with manufacturers. The website stated that, I don't know if they mean to look throuhg datasheets, or send them an e-mail to know if they have such products.
Sasha Posted December 11, 2007 Report Posted December 11, 2007 What is special about 670nm wave length LEDs?
DragonMaster Posted December 11, 2007 Report Posted December 11, 2007 http://ledmuseum.home.att.net/1980.htmThey produce mostly IR and almost look like a laser apparently. The Fairchild FLV-104 is the only standard LED I found that produces 670nm, and it was discontinued almost 30 years ago.
stryd_one Posted December 13, 2007 Report Posted December 13, 2007 Hahahah I thought we had another lunatic matching LEDs to LCDs by wavelength. I would NEVER do that. Honest.Keep us posted if you find them mate :)
