  2. Hello

I want to finish my mbseq V4 with the new core STM32F4

i m not sure that i need 4 midi input so i wanted to know if i could used the quad IIC midi board with the STM32F4 for have 2 input midi and 6 midi output and the BLM output (2 input and 2 output midi come from midi I/O board for STM32F4)

  3. Pulses are very short (only 1 mS) - did you consider this?

Yes i understand that is very short

how do you do to see the instrument trigger  led blinking withe the full MB808 ?

I m thinking that i could see the pulse with an oscilloscope no ?

I wanted to check if i have the pulse could you tell me how i can do it ?

    Menu Page Selection

    Perhaps i don't understand how it's work ...

  4. I have some questions about the trigger section in the MB808

i have keep the original configuration in the the asm files with the MIDI output port value = 1 like this

When i try to check the DOUT with oscilloscope i don't see anny voltage .

IT is normal or i need to do something ?

; Following table allows you to define
;   - the track names (must consist of exactly 6 characters!)
;   - the DOUT shift registers (SR) to which the drum triggers are connected
    ;     (1-16; 0 disables assignment)
;   - the DOUT pin to which the drum triggers are connected (0-7)
;     Note: since version v1.3 the "real" Dx pin number (D0..D7) has to be specified, in previous releases it was mirrored!
    ;   - the MIDI output port (0=disabled, 1=Default, 2=Internal, 3=IIC1, 4=IIC2, 5=IIC3, 6=IIC4, 7=Trigger Only)
    ;   - the AOUT/CV channel to output velocity (1-16, 0=disabled)
;     Note: AOUT module only supports 8 highres channels, but CV outputs can also be realized with DOUTs (see DEFAULT_CV_DOUT* option)

I also read that about the Menu Page Selection but i can't change the value of manual page?

Manual: If sequencer playing: position of all tracks will be set to the selected step.
Sequencer not playing: triggers the step of the selected instrument

  5. I have used the file it's seem better but not ok i m suspecting that the mapping is not ok.

Are you sure that is the last file?

I m using the PCB from smash TV

How i can have schematic ?

    Edit :

Now i m shure that my PCB don't work with the mapping in the MBSEQ_HW.V4 but i don't know why

I m using the latest programn and and hwcfg file : V4_077

i see in a other forum that U7 is on the back of PCB, on my PCB U7 is on the front face as the other .

it is possible that the mapping is doing for U7 on the back side of PCB ?

  6. Hi Duggle thank you for your answer. In my case all the led shine when the mb seq start. But some led shine low and other shine hight.

I m not shure but i think is no good that all led shine at start ?

The dual led shine low and the two color shine in the same time.

So i think all the led is ok i will check again.

do you need a special files in SD Card?

  7.

    Hello

I think that i have a trouble with the Led of MB seq v4.

I have used the wilba PCB .

I m using Blue led and dual led blue and red.

For the resistor i m using 1kohm  for blue abd 470 ohm for the red.

when i m starting the MBseq the blue led bright some less.

For the dual led the 2 color are on

Some led bright and other are off.

    the same without SD card

  8. Thank you for your answer Thorsten.

I don't have the doug's or moogha PCB, i have make the keyboad with vero board so the key are not at the same place.

Also i have used the 3 microlarge  PCB with full mod and i have more pot than you.

I will try to contact Richard for know if he can help me
