BTW, I presume most of you already have seen this clip, showing a Synclavier owner who wrote a program in C to emulate the famous fm Gong sound (e.g. Michael Jacksons Thriller) on an OPL2. Nice :-)

Just a friendly bump. I received a sammichFM confirmation email over a year ago and haven't heard anything since. Did I somehow miss the train?
Same here, but I don't think anyone has missed the train. It's probably too high a workload or something that has come in the way :-)

I found this project about using the ISA bus to talk to the FM chip in a soundcard. I have a box of old soundcards, however all of my soundcards have the OPL integrated in the main controller chip. So I found this project interesting. It should not be impossible to integrate a full ISA card in a midibox project, it would probably not be the prettiest box around.

He sent out order confirmations on the 16th January and invoiced me on Jan 31st.
I'm all paid up and waiting with a pair of 8580R5s and a pair of 6581s to play with.
I got a confirmation email January 5, but have not heard anything since.
