  1. Sorry for being off-topic, but here's someone that makes whole albums with OPL3 only, amazing good, don't miss this: Diode Milliampere - YMF262 (2014) [ FULL ALBUM ]
  2. This is going to be great. BTW, I presume most of you already have seen this clip, showing a Synclavier owner who wrote a program in C to emulate the famous fm Gong sound (e.g. Michael Jacksons Thriller) on an OPL2. Nice :-)
  3. Arno, or anyone, could you be kind and also add me for two kits please? :-)
  4. Same here, but I don't think anyone has missed the train. It's probably too high a workload or something that has come in the way :-)

If ya want one now, you should try to get hold of the chipset, and build a modular midibox fm ;). Just a tip.

You can buy both chips at utsource

  8. I found this project about using the ISA bus to talk to the FM chip in a soundcard. I have a box of old soundcards, however all of my soundcards have the OPL integrated in the main controller chip. So I found this project interesting. It should not be impossible to integrate a full ISA card in a midibox project, it would probably not be the prettiest box around. "AdLib sound card on a parallel port" ISA to parallel port adlib project (I'm sorry if I'm reposting old knowledge here)
  9. I got a confirmation email January 5, but have not heard anything since. I'd love to be part of the batch, hope I'm not missing out :-)
