  1. @jojjelito: Mate, what ya think why I've ordered them?!

@Hawkeye: Hehe, no - but they went through customs/duty for sure - FBI don't ring at my door - *puuuh, luck* :-D

  2. Thanks for ya replies.

As I said before, if I don't find some cheap stuff to rip-off (and just use its case) I'll go for the Adam-Hall one for 46€ - Value for the money is excellent.

The other option is to buy a leaf-break instead, but we'll see...

  3. The most annoying part at the moment is, to find a cheap but good 19" 2HE case.

Cheapsest is 46€ here, quite expensive for some sheet.

Looking for something 2HE to rip-off, but nothin on the bay a.t.m, so grasp the nettle and buy the 46€-one in the next days if nothin change or someone have a good alternate to tell.

  4. I'm glad with sommmer-primus (self-confectionated for sure) for years and would rate it over cordial more than one, but at least everyone has to be happy with "his" cable. :-)

    Planet-waves works well, no question!

  5. Great to have more 909(0) out there, mine is ready assembled, but still in "debugging mode" at the moment.

Hopefully be able to run my first entire session this weekend! :-)

Btw; I see, ya build the "modern" version, with the more easy to get transistors?!

I've build mine with the same as in the orig. 909 used ones (2SC2603F and 2SA1115F instead of BC549 and BC559), maybe we can manage to compare some sounds if ya interested...

  6. @Smithy: If anyone realy manage to connect his/her heady to the 7-pin-output he/she will get the straightest 50hz-bass ever heard! :shifty: :D

Seriously, I'm the only one who use the deck ...and I hope I know what I do! *löl*

@Hawkeye: The only one in my opinion, cheers mate!

  7. It's called "Weller ESF 120", just in case ya don't know it allready.

Looks a litle bit pricely first (~60€) but it's one of the things to set and forget, together with a miniature-vise (and the soldering-iron surely) the most used tool in my workshop.
