  1. Hi, I always want to buy a sammichFM, but I think this is no longer for sale. I am very interested to buy this. How much is it? Please contact 975262801 at qq dot com

  2. You are right, problem solved. Thanks
  3. r u sure that I don't have to burn a new bootloader? It is a MIOS 1.9f, TK said I should use 1.9g . I am uploading the midibox_sid_v2_039.zip sammichSID set up hex file. May be it is not compatible with the Mios 1.9f?
  4. Hi TK, Thanks for ur reply. This PIC was purchased two years ago from Smash TV with device ID 00 . I've switch on the unit and LCD shown that it is MIOS V1.9f MidiboxSID V2 0RC38 . Did I upload the wrong firmware? Is it the bootloader problem? Regards, S I guess it's because the version is old? MIOS 1.9F is an older version? I have a PIC burner here. What should I do witht the PIC? Should I erase all data in there and burn a new mios V1.9g hex file in there? I just open this hex file in the software and then upload it into the PIC with a device ID set to 00. Is that correct?
  5. I just checked it again. The encoder works, but I have to tweak it very very very very slowly........... It seems to be very sensative. I have to turn it crazy slow to make it works. Any ideas?
  6. Thanks for ur reply. Yes, I did. I've upload sammichSID firmware in there. setup_sammich_sid.hex It is still the same.
  7. I just check both Encoder with oscilloscope and they are identical. I am sure it is not the encoder problem. I suspect it is the IC ? That PIC is suppose to use in the MB-6582 and I put it in the sammichSID. Any ideas?
  8. Hi, I am fixing my friend's sammichSID. The bank number jumps 10 digit each time when I turn the encoder (A001 > A011 > A021 > A031 > A041 > A051 > A061 .......etc I am just wondering if it has something to do with the PIC ? The original PIC has conrupted and I am using the PIC from my MB6582 with Device ID 0. I have successfully burn the firmware and load the sound into the sammichSID. I can see each sound load in there one by one. Anyone has any idea what goes wrong? I was thinking it's the encoder problem, so I desolder the encoder and put it in my sammichSID and it works fine. The encoder seems working fine. Could it be the problem from the PIC? Regards, S
  9. Hi there, I've build a sammichSID for my friend long long time ago. Recently, he brought it back to me because it wasn't working. I think the MCU is corrupt due to some reason and I am not able to upload the firmware anymore. I have four PIC18F4685 that I brought 2 years ago. I was planning to build a MB-6582 but I never have any spare time, so I have decide to use one of this IC inthe sammichSID. The MCU I got has the device ID 0 - 3. I have plug them into the sammichSID and I found only the PIC18F4685 with device ID 0 is working. All other PIC18F4685 eith device ID 1 - 3 is not working. I can upload the firmware in there but it doesn't go to the main screen after reboot. The screen shown that "CS not enabled" . Does that mean device ID 1 to 3 can not be use in the sammichSID ? Any way that I can change the device ID back to 0 ? S
