Hello everyone! firstly I'am sory for my English more than basic , I hope you understand me .. I discovered this forum there about three weeks , until then I did not know it was possible to create my own midi controller ! So I decided to try : p I use Ableton Live as DJ , I always wanted to create me a big fat controller ! Only little problem, I do not know anything about electronic or programming .. I did some welding at school a long time ago but that's it : p I guess it's like anything, with time and patience anything is possible ... Finally, I hope, we'll see. I set a budget a maximum price of 1000 euros. My project is to create a Fat Controller with 18 vertical slices , 16 slices each with 5 potentiometers and 14 illuminated pads (the leds color would fit the colors of ableton live clips) (every slice would represent an Ableton set with his clips.. ) + 2 slices of 24 smaller pads to select ableton sets and load them into the 16 slices. by making a calculation , my controller would have 80 potentiometers & 272 light pads ... By browsing in the forum I saw that to create the controller, it requires several modules ( CORE, AIN , DIN, ... ) If I understand the system , the base is the CORE module (connected by USB to the computer ), on which are welded DIN modules ( which manages the " switches " ) , AIN (which allows you to manage potentiometers ) , and DOUT (which manages the LEDs ) . My questions are: 1: Does one core module can handle this number of pads and potentiometers ? and if so what model? 2: If not , is it possible to connect several CORE modules together to get there? 3: What are the models that correspond to my project? Bonjour à tous ! J'ai découvert ce forum il y a environ 3 semaines, jusque là je ne savais pas qu'il était possible de créer son propre contrôleur midi ! J'ai donc décidé de me lancer :p Utilisant beaucoup Ableton Live, j'ai toujours eu envie de me créer un bon gros contrôleur ! Seul "petit problème", je ne m'y connais pas du tout en électronique, ni en programmation.. J'ai fais quelques soudures a l'époque du collège mais ça s'arrête là :p Mais bon, j'imagine que c'est comme tout, avec du temps et de l'huile de coude tout est possible ... enfin j'espère, on verra bien. Je me suis fixé comme budget un prix maximal de 1000 euros. Mon projet serait de créer un gros contrôleur de 18 tranches verticales, 16 tranches comprenant chacune 5 potentiomètres, et 14 pads lumineux (dont la couleur s'adapterait aux couleurs de clips ableton live) (chaque tranche représentant 1 set ableton et ses clips) + 2 tranches de 24 pads lumineux plus petits pour séléctionner les sets ableton et les charger dans chacune des 16 tranches. en faisant un calcul, mon contrôleur aurait 80 potentiomètres & 272 pads lumineux... En parcourant le forum j'ai vu que pour créer son contrôleur, il faut réunir plusieurs modules (CORE, AIN, DIN, ...) Si j'ai bien comprit le système, la base est le module CORE (connecté par USB à l'ordinateur), sur lequel sont soudés les modules DIN (qui permet de gérer les "switchs"), AIN (qui permet de gérer les potentiomètres), et DOUT (qui gère les leds). Mes questions sont les suivantes : 1 : Un seul module CORE peut-il gérer cette quantité de pads et de potentiomètres ? et si oui quel modèle ? 2 : Si non, est-il possible de connecter plusieurs modules CORE ensemble pour y arriver ? 3 : Quels sont les modèles qui correspondraient à mon projet ? J'ai peut être tout compris de travers, si c'est le cas j'en suis désolé.. c'est vraiment quelque chose de nouveau pour moi mais qui me tient a coeur !
