  1. Wow, nice one! That looks awesome. I also thought about a motorfader controler for the next project. hm :) Will check that one out for sure. Thx!
  2. Hi Thorsten, super, thx for your response. I still wonder because of LEDs. Since i would like to use the bi-colored once. Green/Blue, i would need two additional inputs for each encoder right? Plus the switch also got its own circuit i guess. So 3 additional inputs. This wont be possible with just one DIN X4 module right? Also i found this ones here: http://at.rs-online.com/web/c/?searchTerm=tyco+encoder They are the same i think, just another vendor but located in Austria, wich is good for me, since im located in germany. Here are the specs: http://docs-europe.electrocomponents.com/webdocs/0ccf/0900766b80ccf883.pdf Would these also work? What i also wonder is if i should use the ones with a flatted or knurled shaft. Any ideas? I don`t know wich one is for what. And if i would need the vertical ones or horizontal ones. cheers
  3. Hello, i`m new to DIY midi controlers, but am interested in building a box with 16 encoders and two buttons for paging the encoders to the next or previous 16 CC messages. Also i would like to have two additional buttons for other purposes. I want to use the CORE_STM32F4 Module http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp_core_stm32f4.html and two of these DIN X4_ V2 modules http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp_din.html What i now am wondering about is wether these encoders would be suitable for that build and if anyone has experience further readings or anything else related to these encoders. Any help or information would be great. Did anyone of you use them in a project? http://www.cliffuk.co.uk/products/encoders/index.htm many thanks! Mark
