  1. I know from experience that GST is applied and is payable once the goods arrive in the country, before they are delivered. Apart from GST, and pehaps a small customs charge, delivery was the only other major cost. Paul, is the 64 off based on the minimum order quantity for Mouser? I notice the next price break at 100 off is US$1.50 = AUD$2.73 I'm thinking about the quantity that I will want.. thanks
  2. hi paul, thanks, I'm interested in at least 16 off. I'm not sure when though, as I've just built a MB64 and am busy playing with it working out, assessing what the requirements are. What is the farnell part# and O/S supplier? I'm in Melbourne. Is the $3 AUS and include GST? many thanks
  3. Anyone know of an Australian stockist of suitable rotary encoders? O/S is very expensive for us here. many thanks
  4. they look excellent! :o :D (I'm tired of green)

    dimming LED

Adjusting the pulse width is ideal for controlling brightness dynamically with a digital circuit, as Thorsten says. If the "controlling circuit" is an analog waveform generator(eg LFO) then the brightness of the led will be proportional to the LED current. This is easily measured by looking at the voltage across the LEDs series resistor. For a standard LED the voltage source must be above 1.2V before any current will flow above this brightness and voltage will be quite linear. questions welcome. ??? -> :D
  6. Do you get the LCD message showing dump progress? (I didn't, and it turned out to an open circuit in the Midi-In circuitry). hope this helps
