  1. Hi Flynn, the MidiBoxPlus is what you want. Go to - http://www.ucapps.de/ and follow links to MidiBoxPlus. It can be built with no LCD or buttons and as few pots as you like. The test circuit - http://www.ucapps.de/midibox/midibox_plus_test_8.pdf shows how to use the MidiBox with just one pot connected - very easy to add one more. hope this helps, paul
  2. Hi kieran, have a look at - http://www.ic-prog.com/index1.htm and this one "should" work too - http://www.winpicprog.co.uk both free, both work with P16Pro. cheers, Paul
  3. Hi Harry, I dont live in Adelaide, so I cant help you with local stores, but here's a list of my favourite online stores - http://www.oatleyelectronics.com/ Good cheap programmer kit (P16PRO) and lots of surplus gear. http://www.microzed.com.au/ Best place for PIC's and eeproms, also has LCD's, crystals, etc http://www.futurlec.com/ VERY cheap pots and ZIF sockets. http://www.vorlac.com.au/ Lots of surplus, check the specials pages. http://www.jaycar.com.au/ http://www.altronics.com.au/ http://www.dse.com.au/ All useful at times. http://www.farnell.com.au/ Last resort - they've got just about everything, but usually at least 2-3 times the price. hope this helps

    PIC micros

    try - http://www.ricomelectronics.webcentral.com.au/ http://www.microzed.com.au/index2.htm cheers
  8. The P16PRO programmer supports these PIC's - www.picallw.com It works well with IC-Prog and many other softwares. Cheap kits are available from - www.oatleyelectronics.com/kits/k129.html only $27 AUD. I've been using this for a while and had no problems. Most software has an option for this programmer. Love the new ideas Thorsten - I just wish you'd stop long enough for me to finish something ;) cheers, Paul
  9. They are from mouser - US$1.65 each. Farnell part number is - .733-740 (horizontal) .733-751 (vertical) Dont know if we'd have to pay GST or customs, I'll look into it.
  10. Hi Duggle, I've searched pretty hard and the only place I found was Farnell - over $7 each!! Best I found was $3 from O/S, but with minimum order I have to get 64 or more. Anyone in OZ want to do a bulk order with me? I volunteer to do the ordering etc. I'm in Melbourne. cheers, Paul
