    verkaufe SID

  3. just a quick question: i finished my core module and hooked nothing except an lcd up to it. i burned the pic18f452 with the bootstrap loader, icprog said i did this successfully. now when i power on the core module the lcd (16*4) lights up but there is absolutely no message on it except for black boxes all over lines 1 and 3. i tried to upload the firmware via midi, but to no avail. what should the display say???? i need to know this in order to look for errors.... i bought pre-etched boards so i think my soldering job is ok.... i´m confused. creekree

  5. i was wondering if it would be possible to use those oooooldschool windshield-wiper-lookalike thingies to display midi activity (one for in, one for out) i am asking this because i have a nice tabletop amplifier case that would be perfect for a midibox64, and it already has those things (what are they called???) in it. is it possible? after all, they are analogue unlike a LED. creekree www.asphaltgleiter.de
  6. hi everyone, i have just finished a downgraded version of midibox64 to control the effects section of my quasimidi 309. the fx send amount of each instrument is working by now, as standard controllers are used (eg CC91 and CC93 on channels 1 to 7). the next thing i want to do is: control the actual effects settings (effect type, level, delay etc) with knobs. the 309 uses sysex to remote control these parameters, and thats why i am stuck: I DONT KNOW HOW TO CUSTOMIZE META EVENTS. please help me... serges editor uses meta IDs and meta event numbers, but i did not find any reference to them. please take into account that the box runs on a PIC16F877 as i already had it and assume that it should very well be sufficient for my box (no lcd, no buttons yet and probably not in the near future). is there any way that i can edit the firmware? it runs on the latest non-MIOS (1.01b) but i dont know how to edit that one. i suspect it is not editable since it looks like a compiled hex file. on the other hand i am not much of a programming expert.... ok, enough of that: could someone please point me in the right direction? any help will be greatly appreciated creekree
  7. hi! i ordered a jdm kit from c. pukowski - he did a great job! still, there is one problem: i cant tell which diode is which. there are the following writings on the diodes: BZX 55C 8V2 ; C5V1PH and 8h 1h 2. can anyone help identify these diodes? thank you, creekree
