  1. Hi, I posted on an other forum as well here in the NL, and Ive found out that it's not possible... If you want to do this then you'll need an old video card with something called Vesa Feature or something... And I was asking how it was possible and didn't know you would need an expensive converter... I saw laptop screens for $20, on ebay... Now I'm confused... Do you have a link of some info about this converter your talking about??
  2. Hi... I was wondering if there's anyone who has experience or ideas about building your own lcd/tft display...?? My idea is buying a cheap "old" laptop screen and transfroming it in to a nice display on the wall... (To use it in combination with my computer) So if anyone has any ideas if it is possible...?!? Regards, Gerard
  3. Hey gasten.. :-X http://www.etnshops.com/supermoduul/ Mzzl Gerard
  4. I think it wouldn't be a problem to use my computer as "display"? for debugging and so on..? I wouldn't be using a display for any other practical use, I guess.. ps: thanks for the help!!
  5. Ok! It all starts to make a little sense to me, somehow.. :P I wasn't planning on making a display. Is this maybe not to smart? Or doesn't it make much difference? Accept for any user-convenience? Thanks!
  6. Thanks.. ;D You're right about the master fader.. I took it of.. I'm thinking of ordering the core kit(s) from here: http://avi.dezines.com/mbhp/buy.html The only thing is the programming.. They can program the bootstrap loader, but I don't know what header to choose...?!? Anyone any ideas?
  7. The 17th is for the master fader... But I'm still not sure if I'm really going to use a 17th for master fader... If it would "cost" me another core... Maybe someone has some more ideas? You can find my design here: http://www2.hku.nl/~gerard/Midibox/Midibox.htm Grtz
  8. Thanks guys! I already thought it had to be something like this.. Now I know for sure..! Think I'm going to order some stuff in the next few days... 8) Just one small question.. How many pic's would I need to control 17 motorfaders? (and 128 buttons/leds?) Thanks :-*
  9. Maybe a stupid question but... there is no such thing as a stupid question.. Am I right.. :P I'm just a newbie... :P I'd just like to know what the actual difference is (besides price) between motorfaders inc touch sensors, and motorfaders without them...?!? Is it only that it "recognises" the touch of a fader (so without moving it..).. So it is also possible to use faders without the touch sensor and make select buttons for each channel/fader..? Thanks ;D
