  1. hi ! they said that will be 2000euro/2400 dollars..... too expensive.... at that price tag you could buy a touchscreen notebook... the most interesting things too me is OSC protocol... any chance that we will have some DIY OSC controllers? :) lalo

  5. Hi guys! I decided DIY electronix will be one of my interest in life :) I have no scientific background at all...i'm only a poor musician :)... So i'd like to build some little midi-box (and some diy pedal-effect) to learn the basical practical skills ;) But i'd like to learn some of the theoretical stuff behind... so i found 2 books "The Art of Electronics" (Horowitz/Hill) "Teach Yourself Electricity and Electronics" (Stan Gibilisco) Does anybody know something about them? Maybe i need some up-to-the date book on the PIC subject 'casue those books are a little oldish... Does anybody have some book suggestion? thank u all in advance lalo :)
  6. Many many many thanx!! Now i know ;). I think i'll gonna make a little Mbox64 based controller. With a bunch of Sliders, Knobs, Buttons, a pair of Joysticks, and some Jack inputs for pedals... One question arise in my mind....if i want to do a couple of jack inputs for switch pedals....i guess i have to connect them to the AIN module and not to the DIN one...'cause the switch pedals are -5/+5 volt...the DIN is only for buttons (?). Is there a way to use the switch pedals as toggle? (first time you press off..2nd on etc.?) sorry fot my stoopid noobieness...i'm learnin ;) lalo
  7. Oh right...n e = any.....thanx! Anyway is it possible to link different cores??? thanx lalo
  8. thanx for replies guys! What does mean "N E probs" Is it possible to link different cores in the same project...without the needs to build different boxes? thanx lalo
  9. hehe...sure i'll go for some experiment with little boxes ;) i'm only askin' if my ideas are in the realm of possible things....are'nt they?..or is not possible at all ;) lalo
  10. Hi all guys! I'd like to do a big midi-control project....i'm very very newbie in soldering and stuff, but i'd like to know if some of my ideas can become true with this beautiful thing thats the ucapps.de!! I'd like to have a 64 fader box with 64 buttons, a 64 knobs box with 64 buttons, a 32 jack input box (for continous pedals, switch pedals, and other input devices (sensors and stuff) and a 128 buttons console for triggering pourposes. I'd like to have all this in a big rackmount console. Is it possible to have all the midi outputs of those things routed to a single port without using a midi-merge? so i'll have only one chassis for all the stuff...in wich way can i link these 4 different cores? thanx lalo
