  1. Today I launched LPCxpresso and the Program Flash button is working.
  2. Hi Everyone! Yesterday I finished assembling my LPC17 PCB. Now I am ready to install the MIOS32 Bootloader, but I'm having trouble with the instructions on: http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp_core_lpc17.html I installed LPCxpresso IDE 5.2.6 on my Windows 7 box and activated it. Then I selected the New Project option in the lower left pane, then select FreeRTOS Project under LPC175x_6x, hit next, enter a project name, then select LPC1769. I then click Finish and a project is created. The next step says "Click on the small "Program Flash" icon". The problem is that this button stays grayed out, no matter what I select. Any ideas how to get past this step?
  3. Thanks! I'll go ahead and order my starter kit from Smash TV.
  4. I'm getting ready to order some PCBs and a PIC from Smash TV. I wanted to get the bootloader preburned by him, but I wanted to double-check if the ID I'm choosing will work. The Device ID is going to be 23 I'm going to use two 2x40 HD44780 (character) LCDs and Common MIDI Interface Is the following going to work? ID = 0000000000000023 I apologize if this seems like a dumb question, but working with MIDI DIY is new to me.
  5. I found out about MIDIbox through Dirk Lindhof's website. I'm looking for a way to create a multi-channel MIDI analog sequencer, but preferrably cheaper than the Doepfer MAQ. I'm comfortable with soldering, since I've built around 100 or so analog synth modules, but not comfortable with programming. If I understand correctly, I would need the MIDIBox Core, 2 x AIN, 2 x DOUT and one AOUT PCB kit to essentially create something like a Doepfer MAQ. Now for the stupid question part: Once I have everything assembled, all I have to do is hook up the core pcb to a PC via MIDI and dump the MIOS into it? Will it know to detect how many rows of pots are connected, how many LEDs, LCDs, etc??? This all sounds far too simple!!! Forgive me for being skeptical.
