    ....so? nobody knows a solution?

    i also have a new problem, suddenly my lcd doesn't show anything, but seems that the problem is about the cable or something like that, and another one is that the core doesn't want to communicate with sid, i tryed to reinstall everything from the beginning

    (even if i can't send the right sid application with the right setting for my  2x16 lcd!)

    and from mios i noticed that the core sends a midimessage that is the following

    note off c-1 velocity=00

    note off c-1 velocity=00

    note off c-1 velocity=00

    note off c9  velocity=120

    ..................timing clock

    ..................timing clock

    i know that i'm adisaster with this project, but : what is going on? is my sid dying?

    ok, i got it

    the error message says

    error 151(cs file name)

    unresolvable label or too complex

    i did like this:

    i opened mplab

    i created a new project

    i copied all the files inside the directory sid 1.7-303b, dragging them

    on the project window

    i saved the project in a directory named "303" really close to the root directory

    (C:/303:/)

    i customized the asm files

    and then i pressed F10

    should b ok but i always get that error 151!!

    well, i don't have mplab on this computer now

    but if i'm not wrong, should be something that finish like"... the path is too complex..."

    in the while i tryed to move the folder of sid 1.7 303b

    inside the directory of my disc C

    and i got the error anyway(?)

    what's wrong?

    i tryed to customize a bit the main asm because i have an 2x16 display

    using mplab, but when i press f10

    i get this error151

    i remember that time ago i solved the problem moving the directory somewhere..

    after 10 months i forgot everything...i'm so fried...

    can somebody give me a tip?

  5. SOUND FROM THE INPUT???

    basicly, instead to connect the jack in the output, i used the input (as a mistake and not on purpose)and with a lot of surprise there was a sound just a little lower, respect to the output.

    i don't go to the sid with an amplifier, but from the line in of a mixer and i listen to it with headphones....

    for months everything was ok, i also tryied to use the input to process external sounds and was almost nice.

    then suddenly i got sound from the input and i also noticed that after a while that the sid is playing there's a bit of pitch changing...

    i have a "little" doubt about the digital out connection

    especially the modulation matrix ports

    i tested the connection with a led and it lits only with the short leg on the left side

    i mean short leg in j5-d0 and long leg j6-d1

    is it normal?

    with the other ports the anodes cathodes are in the right position

    there is anybody here able to explain this?

    with that price they offer the material that you wanna use,(for polycarbonate many colours are available)

    they make all the holes that you need

    and letters engraved, that is much better than silkscreen

    i mean is just like the frontpanell on ucapps.de

    but you can make your own design, or if you prefer i can do it for you(i'm a graphic designer)

    lcd size....

    when i try to make

    i get this message:

    well, actually i'm trying to understand

    how can i change the configuration for my display ???

    i have a couple of lcd, one is a 2x16, the other is 2x40

    i know that i should write somewhere to didplay 4 elements for the first and 10 for the second but...

    i mean, i don't understand wich file i'm supposed to download, the source code

    i have too many main.asm on my desktop and i'm going crazy

    can somebody try to explain how it works?

    i have to change the mios configuration?

    from my mbsid?

    from a particular file on my desktop?

    and when the file is ready i just have to upload it by midi?

    i feel so stupid and tired at the same time

    try to think at me like a baby that needs to learn(and i'm learning...)

    hey guys, i found a place here in italy that could cut some nice frotpanells for a really good price

    but to spend less, the minimum order is at least 10 pieces

    they can do lasercuts on variuos materials

    like polycarbonate, alluminium, wood..

    for 1 they asked me almost 150 euros

    but for at least 10 (no matter if they are differents)

    the price goes down to 40/50% less

    so if somebody is interested...

    just let me know

    you want to be able to trigger the drum sounds by midi?

    yes, i would love to use it as a sound module

    because i relly like the sounds

    find out what kind of signals the pads give out; probably a pulse and a velocity signal, i have no doubt that a midibox can provide you with these signals

    well i have 4 bigger pads for the drum sounds

    and 4 smaller pads for "special effects"

    how can i add the midifeatures?

    do you mean the 10 microfarad electrolithic cap?

    maybe the one that i soldered is not working....

    i also noticed that if you touch the ground of the audio output for a while, suddenly the audio signal disappear and to have it back

    i have to switch off the sid

    if the problem can be solved changing that cap, i'll do it

    ok guys, finally my sid is making some noise

    and i like it, but after the interconnection test i tried to check also the output with the oscilloscope just to see waveform

    and i noticed that there is a small tension of 1v coming out of it....is it a problem?
