  1. thanks for that... i'll take a look!
  2. Hi there, I purchased a MB64 kit from mikes midi shop and I am currently soldering up the LTC module... The problem I have is that ive been sent all the caps, 4 x 220 caps, 2 x 100k caps and 2 x 10uF caps but the 100k and 10uF caps have not been labled so I dont know which is which. Is there a way of being able to tell which is which from the coloured lines on the caps or some other way without using any testing kits? Ive emailed mike about them but have no response... ;( Hope you can help, thanks
  3. is it possible to use a normal touchpad from a laptop? I will prob want quite a small touchpad if possible. I read the thread about that free touchpad... what worries me is that the values u change the thing the pad is assigned to resets to the centre again. no one really explained a way to get round this in in detail.
  4. ive read through the forum and it seems it may be possible to use a touchpad for a controller, but what I have not found is what kind of touchpad i would need and how on earth to incorporate this into my design. Is there anyone out there who can help? Im building an MB64 and would like 1 or 2 touchpads to control my filters in ableton live. Is there anyone out there whos done it and can tell me what i'd need to look for and do? Thanks

  6. Anyone know where I could get something similar to sasha's "maven" side panel / mounting blocks? see image below, I dont want to just create a plain square / rectangle box to put the controller im making in, im after something a bit more funky! ive tried thinking of where I could get something like this and modify it somehow to mount my controller on but I cant think of where to look. Any suggestions are much appriciated!
  7. thanks for that, i'll go take a look now! ;D
  8. Hi there, im going to me making a MB64, I will be getting my mate to help me with the soldering as he has a degree in engineering but before i can do this I will need to get all the parts together for him. Is there anyone out there who would be willing to sell me the pics i'd need for this project ready programmed? I dont have a program or any experience with programming chips, so any help would be appriciated. I can pay via paypal and i'd need them delivering to England Many thanks
