hi all, im trying to convert a the main.asm To a Hex Format With mplab.ide Everything look to work well ( i just wana Put a 16x2 lcd) after that i convert it to syx with The dos shell , all syx files are created but when i upload it to my sid , nothing change i cant see all the menu item like i should ??? in the main.asm i ve modified the Lcd Numer From 5 to 4 (4 for the 16x2) where is the error ??? Help ???

no the lcd was break and i ve exange it from my dealer my sid can stay power on 2 hours without probs it s burn only if i make sound with it ??? (((the power suply is in ac, but when i reverse the polarity it make a shortcute ))) also this , i dont understand .

i notice that adaptator burn only if i play sound out of the sid.

the most strange is that everything si working well "exept the filter (it was working very well, good cutoff, and after some notes it was very bad <,,,,,???)" the sid is not geting hot , neither the 7805 or 7809 ??? i think i must remove everything from the box and test everything :-\

yhep i ve burn a alesis adaptator of 9vac 0.78A 7va a nintendo adaptator of 9v 1.3A and a 12 v 300mA there is no shortchut between the + & - on power suply!!!!

hi all i ve finish to build a midiboxsid config is: 1 sid modul 1 core 1 din and 1 Lcd 2x16 i ve burn 3 powersuply adaptator until now i dont understand ! ! ! is it Normal is the lcd or the sid modul can Kill it Juste like this Because I dont think there is a shortcut Inside !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!! maby if someone can describe how "S.A.M" control the Sid CHip to make her talk. We could Answer to that i just love the sound of this speech synth isn't it possible to make it run under Mios ????, i know that all computer add a version of this prog when it was release ... re, i find the reason of the trouble A pin of the IC PIC was Breaked, the RC one (rd2 on pic) ... It s better When this PIn is connect To the DIN :-\

yop, yes everything was working well , exept the Expensive Blue/white led Lcd that is BreaKed i Dont Know Why. hm.. hm the screen always stay with the first line car. Black ( white) i would like to know if it would be because the screen is dead. , i think that my lcd screen is broken it was a prety expensive lcd 2x16 white with carr. and blue font "29€" snif snif :'( maby the midi cable with vdd on it was fatal because when i turn midibox it send midi message like it must do.and everything seem to be ok exept this bad lcd, i ll change it now.

is it possible that my screen is broken if it display only a line on the first caracter row??? could it be the decoder inside that is out ???

hey, i m trying with a another computer and everythings is normal i think that the midi out of my 1rst computer is out anyway this not work again :p i ll change the opto , i wonder if he s coulnt be out after that ... ???!!!

dont know what happen <with my midi box when i plug the midi cable into the "in" the screen get light, even if the power is not ON ??????????? i wonder if it s not the ground of my computer that is not the same of my midibox ???

hi all, i m making a Midibox Sid, but i can't find the solution to my problem with the din modul, when i push a button and let it pressed down the menu go every where in a random way. i verify all contact wire and solder but can't find where the prob is from. maby if anybody had the same prob, or can say me what it can be :) i would be very happy ...
