  1. Anyway, sign me up for one pad :-) And an FFC if it's possible
  2. ok, thanks... But if there are 3 or 4 pins they should behave like 2 normal pots? - Rune
  3. yeah, but it all seems to be laptop-touchpads? And I can't see how many pins they have or their details.. (resitancebased or...) Do you have a link to just 1 touchpad that I could connect directly to the AIN? Thanks again for your help...
  4. But there's no way I can get these things in like a month or so? I just need 1 touchpad and 1 FFC
  5. ÓK.. thanks.. Is that kind of a cable or what?
  6. OK, cool... The other thread also says that it should be easy with the spectrasymbol pad... Then it's just how to get it :-)
  7. Thanx :-) I've read that Spectrasymbol doesn't send samples of their XY-pad anymore... And I can't seem to find anything on ebay... Do you prhaps have a link to a serach you have done on ebay? - Rune
  8. Just to sum up my interests: 1) Did someone ever make the XY-pad work? 2) If you can't buy the spectrasymbol pad, is there any other pad that I can use? 3) Does anyone have any diagrams or a quick newbie tutorial... My intentions... check this thread: http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php?topic=7400.0 cheers
  9. I've found this thread, where they say that the spectrasymbol xypad can be easily mounted to an AIN module.... http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php?topic=5023.0 The complain that it doesn't hold the position when you release your finger, but this is exactly what I want! Have anyone tried adding such a pad? I think I need guidance.... :-)
  10. did this ever come to something? Do you have a link to the xypad? Have anyone actually build a Midibox with a touchpad? - Rune
  11. It's the most crazy thing I've ever seen.. Check out Matt Bellamy from Muse on stage with the monster: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26j8hbIxHnM&mode=related&search= How do I get near that :-)
  12. Uhh.. nice one :-) That will maybe spare me my DIN module or what?
  13. Hey Everyone.. Sorry for the many topics, but I have lots of questions :-) I am about to build a MIDIbox64 into my guitar.. 1 core module, 1 AIn module and 1 DIn module, and before I saw the topic below, I wanted to go with 8 pots and 8 buttons: http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php?topic=2758.0 My guitar-mod started when I saw the band MUSe live, and saw this guitar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZ022eXOK2Q Check out how the touchpad is built into the guitar. That's what I want!!!!!! But is it easy to buy a touchpad and add it to a module (and which module)? Do I need a lot of software tweeks or what? I'm really really excited if this can work! - Rune
  14. Hey Everyone I'm building a MIDIbox64 into my guitar with a core module, a AIN module and a DIN module. That means I want to have 8 pots and 8 buttons (4 menu + 4 other) in the small amount of space I have. Therefore I'm looking for the following: 8 pcs. of 10k linear pots in a good quality! Beside that they have to be pretty small. I know that it really depends of the knobs I put on the pots, but it helps if thei diameter isn't too big (so they can be mounted close). 8 pcs. of small buttons in good quality... I'm looking for gold knobs and caps to put on the buttons and pots, so if you know any small gold-hardware that would be nice :-) I am really confused looking at all those german electronic stores :-) - Rune
