  1. Yeah 0v. It's showing 240v befor the transformer but 0v after.
  2. If yours is anything like mine, You'll find the fuse in the mains plug.
  3. I have the the one in the middle but the bottom of it has been ripped off. I cannot see any fuses. I think i know why it's possibly broken. I got a bit confused with the wiring of the psu board and the connections of the core and sid. When i turned it on there was a sizzling sound. I then found out that i'd soldered it wrong and changed the wiring. Would this have broken it? Is it possible that anything on the boards will be broken? Chris
  4. I don't seem to be getting any current from i at all. I guess i'll just buy another. Thanks for your help
  5. Quite possibly, but there is no way of getting inside unless i break it.
  6. It seems that it's the c64 psu which is broken. Does anybody know where i can get another? Thnak you Chris
  7. Hi, I am having a problem with my psu. I made it a couple of weeks ago and the output voltages were fine (around 5 and 14). I then connected the bankstick bits to the core and now for some reason the output voltages of the psu are different (about 1v and 9v). Is there something wrong with my psu board or is the c64 psu broken? Does anybody have any ideas? Thank you Chris
  8. Hi, I am a little confused about the connection of the CORE and SID modules. I've seen somewhere that they should connect 1:1 via ports j10 and j2 but there is no Vc on the SID and no Vd on the core. I've also seen a picture somewhere which shows only a few wires coming from the j2 of the SID. Could somebody post up a diagram or explain it to me please. Thank you Chris
  9. This is a great help Therezin but, will it be possible to post a list of the components that i need to buy for this? Thank you Chris
  10. That would be a great help if you could. Thank's
  11. Please excuse my stupidity. I have seen this but i'm a bit rubbish and i don't really know what to do still. I am fine when i can see a picture of the circuit board and can copy it (like i did for the CORE and SID) but i'm not sure what to do with something like this. Do i have to take apart the power supply and solder the certain bit's to the right places? Or is it meant to be kept as a whole? Thank you Chris
  12. Hi, I'm in need of a little help with connecting the power supply from my c64 to my MIDIbox. Would someone be able to give me a bit of a step-by-step guide? Also, does the CORE module need power before the MIDI can be tested? Thank you Chris
  13. Got it. It's all working fine now. Thank you for your help.
  14. Thank you for the reply. This is the first time i've tried to use the MIOS Studio. Plumstone is installed and i have java 1.4.2 but i cannot seem to find java 5 for osx 10.3.9, i guess it must be someting to do with that? Thank you Chris
  15. Hi, I've downloaded the beta 7.4 version of the MIOS Studio and whenever i try to open it, it only shows the loading screen (with all the pictures of MIDI box's) and does not go onto the actual program. Does anybody know what i'm doing wrong? Thank you Chris
