I have seen it in action with MIDI but in all cases with Atmel chips.

You will have to edit the FTDI drivers. You can run the serial port at 31250 bps. You will need to make a few changes to FTDIPORT.inf

I was searching for alternative USB module. The AN2131 is not available in our counry and delivery cost much more money as circuit...

Can this one be used in aplications? it uses chip FT232BM
