  1. thank you very much for your coment and help. my midibox sid is v1, i have the midibox 64 and the midibox sid inside the same box but they work separete, the interconection its via the sequencer, so the only thing i need is to send the "save" instruction via the sequencer and then request the edited patch to the librarian program, with this i will be more than happy. about the desing of the case, thx... i am thinking on help on something to this proyect , i made the front panel and print over a "plastic" strong and easy to drill material, if somebody is interested i can do it for them for only the price of the material and post, i have all the equipment to do it because i work on a printing company, i dont want in any way to make bussines with this, thanks you and this site now i have a couple of pieces of incredible gear and i follow the spirit of this, so if you think it can be a good idea please let me know. thx again
  2. ok, reading the file mb_sysex.inc ive found this: ; g) F0 00 00 7E 43 <d>7 <p> <96 bytes> <checksum> F7 ; Store a Patch (Snapshot) ; <d> = device number (0-7) ; <p> = patch number (0-127) ; <checksum> = the checksum of <96 bytes> seems like its what im looking for... the only thing i dont understand is the "checksum", what i have to send there if the only thing i want to do is store the "snapshot" to the internal memory of the midibox sid?, my device ID is 00 thx
  3. here some picts of the thing... just to show you it 8)
  4. hi it is possible to ask via sysex the edited parameters of a preset? i have build a midibox 64 with 64 pots and a midibox sid minimum option (no buttons or screen) in the same box, the problem comes when i try to store the sound, the core send the memory program but not the changes ive made on it, i supose because those changes are on the ram... other solution can be any sysex string to ask the midibox sid to store the preset, its there this option?, how can i do that? thx
  5. hi I have a teisco 60f synth, it has external audio input and it can use any audio as an oscilator, my intencion is to use it with the midibox sid, all works fine because i can trigger the envelopes of the synth via gate pulses the problem is it doesent have a CV input to control de cutoff :-[ , my question is: how can I do that? is there any "standard" way to control the value of the cutoff (or any other) pot with CV? any info will be apreciated. thx in advance
  6. hi ive buildt a midibox64 with 64 pots and i plan to use it as a controller formy AN1X using meta events, i was so happy to see the example in mb64_meta.inc its for that synth, ive edit the example with 16 diferent sysex lines but...and here is the biggest headache of my life.... no way to add more meta events!!!! i only can change the example but i want to add 64 diferent strings. When i only change the example all works fine, i mean, i can buildt the main.hex file... but if i ad 1 string more nothing happends....... i have to tell that the only code i know to program its the pin number of my phone...im totally out of programming........ can u help me with this? with code examples?....... omg this would be better than a truck of aspirin for my head many thx sorry for my poor english ??? ??? ??? :-\ :-\
  7. the circuit of this guy works 100%... tested and working. the old polysix its alive and kicking!!!..and the best of all its no need to solder nothing inside the synth if u dont like, cool for beginers or people afraid to break the synth.
  8. Hi: in my first midibox sid i notice that when u release any note u can hear this note continously at low volume. i want to know if this is normal or theres any solution for it. ive tryed with 4 diferent SIDs that i have with the same results. Btw i have 4 SIDS 3 of them are made in korea and the other its made in thailand..well, the Thailand one sound more.... how to tell...more "crunchy" ... maybe its my imagination. other curious thing its the "hum" of the system its alocated at 100hz, 200hz, 300hz and 400hz exactly... but i think this depends of the power suply u use. Thx
  9. Hi Where can i download the plugin?, no way to get it from the adress posted here. thx
  10. thx....., the problem was an error of soldering, SER and GND were together..... a new midibox sid has born...and it was incredible..... thx again and "muchas gracias" as we tell in spain.
  11. Hi all Im new on the midibox.... the core seems to work ok, i upload de bootloader, the miox and the main of the midibox sid with MIOSStudio_beta7_5 and all ok but no sound. reading the intruccions i try to check the conections with the mbsid_interconnection_test_b and the problem is only the pins "A", res and CS works with the mod menssages, the rest nothing. tested with 3 difernt 6581 sid that i have, so seems not a problem of the chips. Anyone can help me?...... :-\ ??? Thx a lot those ones doesnt go to 5V: # 6: Pin D0 = 5V ; # 7: Pin D1 = 5V ; # 8: Pin D2 = 5V ; # 9: Pin D3 = 5V ; #10: Pin D4 = 5V ; #11: Pin D5 = 5V ; #12: Pin D6 = 5V ; #13: Pin D7 = 5V sorry for my bad english.
