  1. Now I'm waiting for a nice and slim DAW for the iPad and someone who'll pair this with the line 6 mobilizer.
  2. Solved: PCB felt my wrath when desoldering the CVs after mistaking the warmup part in the manual for the actual soldering process. 5V CV "in" suffered some damage. Had to put some solder on the upper part of the PCB to fix it. Now I get around 7,9v into the CV.
  3. whilst this would be an interesting approach I'm not quite sure what to do with that kind of wisdom. But I can tell you about my problems in english Monsieur. I think I held the guide upside down and therefore soldered the CVs before applying the heatsinks. I killed them in the process of removing them (+ high pitched screaming and yelling for my mommy). Got two new ones, tho without the letter L in front but I was told they're supposed to work by seemingly competent professionals. Sammich no worky worky and voltage tests show the regulators are the last hop. *Posted in the german Forum to make sure the next ones I try are 100% the right ones, don't know if Aussies and se Germans do it alike (Labeling stuff!)
Danke in voraus. B
  5. Order confirmed, can't wait to get my hands dirty. Cheers b.
  6. thanks, so no fast switching on the fly between the plug ins or can I configure some channel up and down switches for my needs?
  7. Sorry if this has been answered a million times before can't find a precise answer on that by just reading into it, tho. I plan on building a very basic version with 32 pots and 16 buttons and nothing more. As far as I got it I'll have Midi learn functionality out of the box, without having to configure anything via display or doing the script conversion and upload process, right? If so is there a way to easily switch between midi channels or even assign seperate channel config. for the pot and button sections?
  8. Had to register to be able to download the pricelist. I'm still waiting for a response and I'll post the outcome. Yay, more Spam for the rest of my life ;D
  9. No answer from knitter, yet Checked these buttons at Conrad yesterday. Felt good but I found them to be very small, not that much bigger than the round ones
  10. nice, would you suggest the rubber (12v) or the metal (48v) contacts? Gonna send them an email on the pricing tomorrow.
  11. Great, thanks a lot. Think I'm gonna go for the square version without LEDs to keep the whole thing as simple as possible and I don't need them for the onoff functionality anyway. The round ones look a lot like those typical MFB controls which were good for programming a step sequencer but I didn't like them for live playing stuff I'll see if I can try out some of these buttons tomorrow at a Conrad store Just realised that the midi interface I want to build is supposed to look a bit like the PS3 Sequencer if some of the controls are skipped and the whole thing is trimmed a bit, maybe like this without the LEDs
  12. hi everyone I'm still gathering information about parts and all, the next 1 or 2 weeks will be devoted to soldering exercises, tho. I need a quite simple layout, 32 Pots and 16+ Buttons, hope I can do without the LCD (have read about that part in the WIKI). I'm going to be playing Arturia Minimoog and Battery 3 through Ableton and I'm fine with the midi learn functions in both plugins. I know which Pots to buy but still haven't found the right Buttons yet. I need something of easy motion, suited for playing drums and other samples, like the Jomox XBase 09 buttons or maybe those of the TR-808, don't need those MPC rubberpads and some kind of computer keyboard numpad look would be great. Any recommendations? thanks
