  1. Great, thanks! Best regards
  2. Hello all, For a quick check I tried to compile the midibox_sid_v3, and as it seems, there is a header "mbnet_hal.h" missing. AFAIK this is actually needed, as there are mbnet-related types and function prototypes inside. Am I missing something obvious, or why is this not in the rep? all the best from Switzerland, Luke
  3. thanks! i am still working on the cpld part, trying to find a way to easily provide reading access, but updates will follow!
  4. Update: inofficial MBHP_SID_V4.1 features: -supports two MOS8580 and -swinsid x2 compatible (this is not my brainchild, i solely announce the compatibility. i do not provide the firmware, as this is swinkels' work) -makes a total of 4 channels -logic chips replaced with an altera max7000 cpld to provide greater flexibility -only requires 5V supply, as the 9V are generated on board connectors: 4 x SMA (or SMB), one per channel 1 x 2pin external 5V J5a and J19 for link to MBHP_CORE_32 J5a: -/CS0 and /CS1: binary chip selects, that get decoded by the cpld -EN: global enable -SPARE: not in use yet J19: -SCLK, RCLK, SO, SI (standard, si not yet used, might be handy in future for things like reading out sid registers) Status: Two PCBs have been produced, one of them has all components placed. The CPLD-design is still beta, but will be stable before too long (this is caused by size difficulties, maybe a bigger cpld in future versions) Edit: IC6 / Pin3 must be on VCC for reliable operation. This corection is the blue wire on the bottom side of the pcb. Schematics: Attachement MBHP_SID_V42_CPLD.pdf
  5. Hi all! Here's my version of the SID-Board. It's based on two 8580, compatible to the Core32 board and the drivers found in the repository. Chip select is on J5A, but can be anywhere else. It only needs a +5V supply, the 9V are generated on board. Also there are output amplifiers to attennuate the signals to a 1Vpp level, line-out compatible. The board is 80x50mm, two layer. I am currently doing a redesign with two 6581 and two 8580 SIDs. More details soon. Questions, Ideas etc. are welcome. MBHP_SID_V4.pdf MBHP_SID_V4_brd.pdf
  6. Hi all! I'm having trouble accessing svn://svnmios.midibox.org using tortoise svn for more than a month now. The Problem seems not to be on my side, as it occurs at different locations. Websvn (http://svnmios.midibox.org) works. What's going wrong? best regards, luke (switzerland)
