  1. I've also ordered the parts to try this.

I'm going to concentrated on getting the mechanicals right before trying the software parts. Because the action on my Wurli's are very loose, and the tolerances are tight I thought of trying a disc or a strip of plastic with with 0.1mm slits every 0.5mm. I'm hoping to the sensor will be able to pick up such small apertures. It might be able to to calculate aftertouch then.

  2. I would strongly recommend you to try it out with one or three 78-TCUT1350X01 (double sensors) before buying the complete set for your piano. I can help you with the software extension (because it's easy to test at my side, and could also be useful for other projects)

    Best Regards, Thorsten.

Thank you Thorsten, I'll give this a try.

  3. Hi All

I would like to midifi a Wurlitzer electronic piano, while not affecting the current sound and action.

    Would it be possible to use the these;

    with MBNG?

These switches can measure speed also, would this allow me to calculate velocity on the MBNG?

I'm looking for a contactless solution, if there are other options to accomplish the same then I would love your input.

    Regards

  4. Good day.

I just bought 7 Wurlitzer 206A Electric Pianos for $100.00, with the intention of stripping one and building a MBNG + midi keyboard into it. After trying the keys of one and finding it buttery smooth, would I be able to use the existing keys with the MBNG in some way?

  5. Good day all.

I'd like to start a project constructing a controller for logic with a built in midi keyboard.

The controller part I have planned (some hardware ordered already) and expect will work.

I have a kb that does not work with os x ml via usb but should work fine via midi.

I was thinking of stripping the kb and building the keys and internals with the mbng control surface.

My question then, would it be best to keep the original keyboard electronics and using the midi to interface, or somehow integrate the keys only through the mbng?

And is the later even possible?

I have been lurking around here since deep in the last decade and I have to mention that I believe that there is something reaaaaaly special happening here with the mbng.

Well done to TK. and all involved, it is really awesome work.

    Regards
