  1. hello they are RSA0N12M9. 10cm. the pdf is not the clearest but here is a link. http://avpg2.homepage.t-online.de/alps/PDF/RSA0N12M9_RSAON12M9_10K.pdf : )
  2. hello I've been playing around with alps faders recently, using 32khz pwm to keep them quiet, at slow speed they are not that smooth, very uncertain. i am not sure as to the reason? it might be the fader is a bit warped? or the pwm is distorted ( i have no oscilloscope to check) The tkd MVH2-6101 are aprox £50 ( from what i have heard) I wonder if they are more smooth and even and better made? the alps i have were aprox £25. i may try other frequencies and higher voltages to give the PWM more bite. my fader is rated at 10v 800ma , i am using 10v as my supply into a h -bridge. As i am using pwm, maybe i can up the volts to 12v? as long as i do not give it 100percent duty cycle. that may help give more bite and power at lower speeds:? shall give it try. wow, did you get a free sample from tkd?
  3. thanks thorsten looks great : )
  4. hello. I hope all is well. I wonder if anyone knows of a H-bridge that can handle high PWM frequencies in the range of 30 kh? thanks for any thoughts on this. : )
  5. hi, thanks for your reply. I forgot to mention, I have made my own servo type circuit/software(using max msp) to control the fader. it works o.k, but I was looking for a little touch sense schematic that I might be able to incorporate into my design. perhaps the touch sense circuit would output a logic 5v so that I could trigger a relay to turn off the motors power. I haven't used the midibox as of yet, is the DINXx part of this? sorry if that's a daft question. : P thanks : )
  6. hello : ) I wonder if anyone can help? I have been trying to figure a way to create a touch sense circuit for a motor fader. I tried a transistor capacitance type circuit and it worked well with a small wire connected to base, but when I connected it to the touch fader connection the circuit would not turn off , even if i stood back away from the fader. i cannot find a qt100 IC (touch sense ic). or any IC that i can solder to my vero board ( or test in my breadboard) I am so lost on what to do , i wonder what you guys do to cut the motor faders power when you touch the fader? thanks for any help or pointers. harpz : P ( edit= I am using an alps fader)
  7. hi JB872, did you manage to sort out your module? I know this was a few years ago,but I just found this amazing site via google. i am about to build a flying fader set up myself. i just purchased a single motorized fader to see how it works. and plan to controll via an arduino microcontroller. or maybe one of these midi boxes? so i wonder how you got on. peace : )
