I got the new encoders and it worked fine! BUT today i dropped the unit on the floor :no: and it landet face down. Now the encoder behaves badly again, so i have to replace it. What type of encoder would i need? Perhaps a more sturdy one?

I am also thinking that. Do anyone know which encoders that is compatible? I have no clue even about how they work :-P

Hi all, this is my first post but i have followed the forums for about a year now. I have build the sammichSID, which is a clever little box. But i have some encoder problems. When i turn the encoder too fast it jumps up and down in values. At lover speeds (very slow) it works fine, but it makes using the machine a pain. I have tried all the things people have written about in this forum, but without luck. Do anybody know what could be the problem. Thanks in advance.
